Every year, the family of cinema is growing by welcoming a young and new generation of actresses and actors, who loudly declare their passion for film.

The story revolves around a man trying to uncover the mysterious death of his girlfriend and save an innocent man from the death chamber in the process, by using his unique power to time travel. However in attempting to do this, he also frees a spiteful serial-killer.

The Révélations 2012 project was created to highlight 31 young actors and actresses, under the gaze of a renowned and talented artist. This year, Jean Baptiste Mondino, a multifaceted photographer and director, the honor of putting his talent and unique style at the service of this project.

"The choice of each period is intimate, as each period awakens a particular emotion in me. This emotion reflects what is around me, not everyone is able to recognise it -- that is the risk I take. I think that this is good enough reason to make a film that will make visible small yet revealing things in differeent ways. Industrial Revelations is a Documentary show showing the connections between related industrial advances. The show's presenter has changed several times since the first series in 2002 hosted by Mark Williams.

Two friends in Mexico discover the Lament Configuration and unleash Pinhead, but one decides to try to survive by swapping himself with someone else. Once they go missing, family members go in search of them, but find Pinhead instead.

Across three compelling episodes Revelation presents the deepest portrayal of the culture and system that protected perpetrators of heinous crimes against children.

Revisiting the 1994 Arkansas murder of three 8-year-old boys and the three teenagers convicted of the crime. A follow up to Paradise Lost, Revelations features new interviews with the convicted men, as well as with the original judge and police investigators.

For the 9th consecutive year, the Revelations Committee of the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques took care to distinguish 16 actresses and 16 actors whose performances particularly marked the year 2014. Mathieu César, a talented photographer with an evocative name, has had a career that is both atypical and dazzling. He imagined, in his characteristic black and white, a cinematographic atmosphere mixing fiction and reality.

Sonia Sieff Sonia embodies the very essence of Revelations: strong creative potential, cradled by the prestige of her elders. She chooses to portray today's youth marked by their codes, their passions, their concerns. Such an important and moving subject.

Every year since 2007, the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques highlights thirty-two young talents through the “Révélations” project, directed this year by Antoine Carlier. This talented and visionary photographer was able to magnify each of them by offering an elegant and very cinematic staging, through the lens of his camera.

The academy highlights these young talents in order to help its members with the difficult choice of nominations for the César for Most Promising actor and actress. Directed by photographer Dominique Issermann, who knows how to sublimate her models so well. “For me, taking a successful photo means creating an image of moving beauty for the person who looks at it,”.

This year 34 actresses and actors were selected by the Revelations Committee of the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques. And it is the talented Yann Gonzalez, a booming filmmaker, who offers us his vision of this emerging cinema. An esthete of image and light, he chose to shoot his film on 35mm film, bringing a unique texture and atmosphere to this work imbued with lyricism and seduction. Captivating music, dreaminess and intensity are the key words of his creation. Always true to himself, melancholic and at the same time romantic, Yann Gonzalez exposes the talent and beauty of these artists in a bewitching chimerical universe.

For this 11th edition, the brilliant Valérie Donzelli demonstrates all her attachment to youth by associating her talent with the 34 Revelations 2017. A true surge of poetry and romanticism, Valérie Donzelli's cinema touches, disconcerts and makes us feel furiously free.

This year, 36 actresses are being highlighted by the Revelations Committee of the Academy of Cinema Arts and Techniques. Lukas Dhont, a true revelation himself since his first feature film, Girl, was awarded the Caméra d’Or at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. He chose to feature this new generation of talents within a “dance marathon”, these exhausting competitions which took place in the United States during the Great Depression, magnificently immortalized by Jane Fonda in a film by Sydney Pollack in the 60s. Through the artistic vision of Lukas Dhont, it is no longer a question of confrontation, but on the contrary, of solidarity and cohesion. Times are changing... Revelations draw their strength from unity.

For its 12th edition, the Révélations project called on Deniz Gamze Ergüven whose camera in Mustang, her first film awarded the César in 2016 and nominated for the Oscars the same year, was able to highlight the freedom and audacity of an indocile youth. By filming these 36 Revelations today, she strives to capture the poetry of a group driven by the freedom to express themselves and create. The film she offers us highlights the unity and harmony emanating strongly from these emerging actors....

Through a short film bringing together those who will embody the cinema of tomorrow, Yolande Zauberman captures the joy, the beauty and the plurality of this vibrant youth, eager to play, to dance, to live, while our daily lives are harshly jostled.
