Four inmates are ordered to enter an annual four day walking tournament. When they get over their initial annoyment, each one of them finds a way to take advantage of their time out of jail.

More than two dozen men and women of various backgrounds, ages, and races talk to the camera about being gay or lesbian. Their stories are arranged in loose chronology: early years, fitting in (which for some meant marriage), coming out, establishing adult identities, and reflecting on how things have changed and how things should be.

Director Andrew V. McLaglen's 1961 drama, based on John William Fox's novel, is the tale of a young man returning home after fighting in the Civil War. The cast includes Jimmie Rodgers, Luana Patten, Chill Wills, George Kennedy, Neil Hamilton and Morris Ankrum.

Young Italian writers and directors express themselves in four episodes about sex and love. "Love and Language," the first tale, centers on the difficulties of a Sicilian immigrant who is unable to master proper Italian. the second tale "Love and Life" centers on a jealous and unhappy wife who becomes so desperate to be free of her constantly philandering husband she takes on a lover of her own. "Love and Art" a nearly exhausted screenwriter hires a secretary to help manage his typing. She's a pretty lass and this makes his insecure wife crazy until he fires the female and hires a male secretary. "Love and Death," the final episode centers on the love affair between a middle-aged widower and the grieving young widow he meets at the cemetery. Unfortuantely for his bank statement, the young, impoverished beauty isn't as bereaved as she seems.

On the way to the church to marry Sophie of Winterston (Luise Bähr) runs over a motorist who crosses at her bridal car. Fate makes poor man is a former boyfriend who left she to go to Africa and who has not seen for years. This coincidence makes Sophie rethink her life and let was going to be her future husband at the altar ... Adapted from the novel by Rosamunde Pilcher, Scottish writer whose works have been brought to the small screen since 1993.

The aria is the climax and the plot is as follows: the Tower of Babel, the home of the termites, collapses. The whore (Babylon) - now without home - resides in the canals of an imaginary city, opens a bar and casts pearls before swine. We accompany a not so young couple for a little stretch of the desperate life on their odyssey through the canals : one more down here = one less up there! They land before the meat pots of Babylon that invite them for a cannibalistic dinner. Babylon can sing EVERYTHING and must leave.
