BAFTA-winning actor Vicky McClure takes us on a deeply personal journey to discover the true extent of music's power in the fight against dementia.

It's 1999. Sasha and his parents spend their summer holiday in a sanatorium, where he gets the titular role in an amateur musical production of Orpheus and Eurydice. He is paired with Polina, an employee of the sanatorium and a local beauty. Sasha falls in love with a girl and, without realizing it, drags himself and his family into an unequal battle with the manager of the sanatorium Misha, who does not hesitate to use any leverage so that Polina stays with him.

Tal is an agent full of ambition, Ori is an insecure singer. To find out who they are, they will have to find each other, overcome the differences between them and let love and music do the rest.

Chanhui and Seyeong, a couple in a long-term relationship, find themselves tiring of each other as life becomes difficult. Motwane included old documentary footage purchased from Kohinoor and Krishna Film, as well as a shot of Rabindranath Tagore singing his Jana Gana Mana composition, one of India’s national anthems (Arunkumar Roy’s Of Tagore and Cinema, 1994, traces this footage to Ufa, shot when Tagore visited Munich)

I have been living in Europe since 2002. I went to Korea with my one-year-old son in 2016 to see my parents after a long time. While staying at my parents' house, I sent my mother, who was suffering from Parkinson's syndrome to a nursing home with the intention of helping my father.
