Uyyala songs are an agricultural tradition rooted in the political expression of women in Telangana. Through this oral tradition, the film traces the histories of resistance and memories of disillusionment experienced by women across political assertions in the region. Through looking at women’s participation in the Telangana People’s Movement, and their demands of justice from the contemporary Mallana Sagar irrigation project, the film attempts to complicate the relationship between memory, history, and cultural production.

For thousands of years Ju/'hoansi have lived in the Nyae Nyae region in northeastern Namibia. In the 1950s, most Ju/'hoansi had been exterminated or were dispossessed by white colonists and black farmers, but in Nyae Nyae Ju/'hoansi were still the only permanent inhabitants. Waterless approaches isolated their ancient communal land and protected them from enslavement.

Clairton, Pennsylvania was once a populated town; booming with business and a clear sense of community. Many jobs came through the Clairton Coke Works Plant. Coke is used in the process of making steel. As decades went on, citizens began experiencing asthma problems, lung cancer, and many deaths in their families. The effects of air pollution in violation of EPA (Environmental Protection Agency) regulations became persistent in every household; many relocated. However, those who stay with the help of PennFuture want to put an end to these violations and regain their community.

Sculptor Andy Scott is commissioned by Manchester City F.C. to create statues for their club's legends - Sergio Aguero, Vincent Kompany and David Silva. This film also focuses on their highlights at the City, so it was only fitting their amazing goals, tackles and skills were turned into statues.
