Apollo 12 was the second lunar landing mission, coming just 4 months after the triumph of Apollo 11. Designed to exercise a pinpoint landing and more robust exploration of the area, the Apollo 12 mission set down in the Ocean of Storms about 200 meters from the Surveyor III probe, which landed in April, 1967. Featuring the jovial crew of Pete Conrad, Dick Gordon and Alan Bean, the Apollo 12 mission launched into a thunderstorm and was struck by lightning shortly after liftoff. Despite concern for the health of the spacecraft, Apollo 12 was checked out in Earth orbit and proceeded on a successful mission and exploration of the moon.

"King of the Ocean" is a film about a man named Neal who goes through a major shark attack. Neal's arm and leg are bitten off and he is placed into a carer's institution by a woman named Roses. Roses is not who she makes out to be; she is a vicious and evil lady who makes life hell for her Client. Neal goes through a cruel and awful ordeal that he never thought he would have to go through, especially after his brutal shark attack. Neal is sharing the home with another Client called Tim who helps Neal. They work together and finally manage to call for help. Finally, Roses is put away where she belongs. Weeks pass and Neal answers the door to a Lady named Rosie. This is a two part movie. The sequel to "King of the Ocean" is available on another DVD titled "Rosie's Return." This film is very similar but different to my up and coming novel "The Swim Inside my Nightmare" which will be out soon. This is a no budget film shot on a Panasonic HC-MDH2 and is an independent production.
The oceans have shaped all life on earth. By combining natural history, history and science, and through a judicious use of CGI, this film sketches a never-before-seen picture of the oceans and how life has evolved under the sea.
Canadian Short Documentary
Meshes of the Ocean is the story of Ron Ingraham, a charming 96-year-old Newfoundlander who immigrated to Canada during the 1940’s, while the territory was still under the British law. In this documentary, Ron weaves his life’s story from his home in the idyllic village of Neil’s Harbour, Cape Breton. He recounts his experiences and the vast changes he witnessed in the fishing industry over the last century and shows his hand-knitting skills while repairing fishing nets, a sustainable practice barely employed today. Through Ron’s story, we acknowledge practices lost over time and the importance of listening and learning while the knowledge is available.
