The boy has longed to visit the northern country and experience the beautiful mysteries of nature that his childhood friend Norman the Snowman has told him about. On the first day of snow in the northern country, the boy sneaks out of his house and boards a northbound train with Norman to see the mysteries of nature with his own eyes.

Two brothers embark on a journey north to find the northern lights, but what they're really searching for is each other and the intimacy they once shared. Somehow, though, smiles turn into silence. Samuel, the older brother, is brain-damaged and the younger brother, Simon, has an important decision to make concerning himself and Samuel, but Simon's efforts to get through to his brother seem to be in vain. Simon and Samuel set off to find the northern lights. But how do you find the northern lights, and how do you find the light within yourself?

Inspired by news items or social facts, each short film seeks to lift the veil on various forms of interactions between animals and humans, while attempting to approach the wild forms of the present. Whether it is a matter of cohabitation or of confrontation, the promiscuity of species is written through a charcoal design and a sound atmosphere devoid of words. These films thus extend the gesture initiated in caves by humans tens of thousands of years ago.

A village girl, Hanaa, gets fascinated by the colorful world of the cinema as a director arrives in the village to film his movie. As Hanaa meets Tamatem, the dressmaker of actress Sally, she gets a job as Sally's maid and crosses paths with Mourad who pushes her to work at cabarets.

Joseph Sunn Jue established the Grandview Film Company in Hong Kong during the 1930s and continued making films in the USA during wartime by collaborating with Chinese opera performers in exile there. Wong Hok-sing, an opera actor himself, directed, wrote and starred in this film. He staged a spectacular play-within-a-play at the end, not only to promote the art of Cantonese opera but also to boost solidarity among overseas Chinese through difficult times.

Ironically, a killer with experience and a faint-hearted student find themselves in the same apartment where the triple murder had just happened. Heroes are firmly linked by ridiculous circumstances, and now they have only time, which is too short to deal with each other and, more importantly, in themselves...

This is a story about the eternal miracle of life and death. The unfortunate death of a wild hare turns into a remarkable experience for children who find his body and bury it in a sand box. Now buried, the hare’s life fades away and dozens of magical creatures that lived inside him leave his body in search for a new home. The hare’s life ends by merging with nature, but is reborn in the plants and animals around it. This fairy-tale for children encourages us to think about what death is.
