A couple of robbers flee from the police after robbing a bank. Their car breaks down and they are picked up on the road by three touring musicians in their van. They stop in a forest for the night and decide that each musician has to tell a horror story by campfire light. The one who tells the bloodiest story will stay alive.

Joaquin comes back to Granada in the eighties trying to find out about something happened when he was a child and the Spanish Civil War was going on. He helped an unknown man who survived after being executed. He finds the man, Galapago, who is now quite old, poor and with almost no memory. Joaquin takes care of him and finds hints that point to Galapago as Federico García Lorca.

La Academia 5 is the fifth musical reality show in the La Academia franchise. The auditions were done nation-wide and a total of 30 people were chosen to go to Mexico where they would have to spend a week working hard and showing all of what they had inside to be chosen to the final 20, a first for La academia for the past 5 seasons including La academia USA only 18 finalists were selected. The first La academia 5 concert was on July 9, 2006. A week before the first concert, there was a special show that lasted two hours. In that show, footage from the auditions was shown. At the end, 10 of the 30 were eliminated leaving the lucky 20 that Azteca America had chosen to become the fifth generation of La academia. After five months and 24 concerts of competition La academia 5 came to an end, crowning Samuel Castelán Marini as winner of the Latin Reality Show. As the winner and runner-up, Samuel Castelán Marini and Rocio Colette Acuña Calzada respectively received contracts with a Record Company to release an album. Second and third runners-up Marbella and Renata both released an album post-la academia.

Life in the isolated town of Charrúa is dominated by the presence of a large power plant that distributes energy to most of Chile. A little boy hunts rabbits, residents demand better electrical coverage at a town meeting, a woman waters the plants outside her house and a local radio station relays the day's happenings. At night, wildlife is captured on camera, along with strange bursts of light that momentarily illuminate a countryside criss-crossed with pylons and cables. And ever present is the insidious hum of electricity.
