Hungry for sun, light and warmth, a group of teenagers embark on a dream trip to the Balearic Islands.

The first work from Fernando Franco revolves around Ana, a 30 year old ambulance driver. Though good at her job, Ana has problems relating in her personal life. She doesn't know it, but she suffers from a condition known by psychiatrists as Borderline Personality Disorder. The situation pushes her to outbreaks of self-destructive behaviour, alcohol abuse and self-harm. Ana is incapable of getting what she wants most: to be happy.

Raúl learns of the suicide of Marcela, his high school sweetheart. The shock plunges him into the memory of that winter of 1980 in Buenos Aires. The nostalgic memory of their story revives in the present, like a forgotten love wound that never healed.

La loba herida is a Venezuelan telenovela shown in 1992, starring with Mariela Alcala, Carlos Montilla, and Astrid Carolina Herrera. This telenovela contains 214 episodes. Nicandro Díaz produced its remake, known as Contra Viento y Marea for Televisa in 2005.

The memory of the body and the underground labyrinth

"The wound and the knife" is several things, or at least three: a documentary, a fiction and an essay. A documentary about the creative process of the last 5 years of the artist Emilio García Wehbi, a series of fictional scenes that dialogue with his work and a kind of essay on the body. In this sense, the staging is situated in the fragment, not only in the fragments of Wehbi's works, but also in the fragments of the bodies that make up those works. Thus, a little adrift and with a puzzle structure, in "The wound and the knife" I manifest a constant will to jump into the void, in this way the film denies itself as a closed work, but rather, what what it tries to be is a draft, the single notes that survived my own process.
