Laurent, a seemingly normal young man, is looking to join a witches’ sect that resides in a forest near his house. The only thing is Laurent’s wife Aline also needs to join the sect in order to complete his initiation. Aline is understandably reluctant, so the sect’s heads design a series of events designed to break her down.

In this French-language film, Albin is a mercenary soldier. Sure, he's paid to kill, but he only agrees to jobs where he's killing those who need to be killed. Anyway, he trusts his buddies, and they trust him: in this case with a big haul of money they found in a jungle shoot-out. When he returns to France one of the first things he does, quite by chance, is to go see the act of Le Grande Magic Circus. The circus keeps coming into his life for the rest of the movie, as he tries to live a "regular" life.

Bogotá, 1980. During the government of President Turbay. An urban cell of the M-19 invades the Embassy of the Dominican Republic, taking 14 ambassadors as hostages. They demand that they be exchanged for political prisoners. The film focuses on the events that took place during those two months of captivity.

Javier, a plastic artist whose life goes by uneventfully, undertakes a strange project: to film his mother, an enigmatic and distant woman. He is not a filmmaker and improvises this task, which will bring an unexpected connection between the two.

Pamplona, 1975: Dr. Navarro, a famous doctor in the city, feels strongly attracted to Juana, his nurse, who is also in love with the doctor. Navarro, however, moved by his strong religious convictions (in fact, he is a numerary member of Opus Dei) remains faithful to his wife and tries by all means to prevent that their relations with Juana break through professional boundaries. For the purpose of that, he orders the nurse will sent to another hospital. This will push Juana to take the initiative and provoke the doctor during San Fermines.

After 40 years of wrongful imprisonment on death row, César is finally released and must rebuild his life. Having spent nearly his entire life in the Polunsky Unit, a prison known for its extreme isolation, he arrives in Mexico ready to embark on a journey of healing. Confronted with his own limitations and the challenges of a new beginning, César is resolute in his quest to discover what true freedom means.

The story of the couple from the very first meeting to break up told from a view of a woman, Francoise. The film shares the same plot with "Jean-Marc ou La vie conjugale", that tells the same story from another perspective.

Cándida's boyfriend left her in Spain to go to work to Havana. After twenty years without news, she decides to go look for him, although the only thing she knows of him is his name. In the port of Havana, she is confused with a jewel smuggler, which kicks off a series of comical events.

The story unfolds in Bilbao. Rocío (Emma Suárez), is in love with Mario (Antonio Banderas), a free rider with a lot of face that, to top it all, is partner of the business of her father, Domingo (Francisco Rabal) with whom she maintains incestuous relations. When Domingo passes away, both Mario and Rocío's mother have to put to the front of the business, finishing with the inheritance that could receive Rocío. In the midst of her frustration, a young business worker, secretly in love with Rocío, will try to have the legacy of her father end up in the hands of his rightful heiress.

Over the course of one afternoon, in six different parts of Los Angeles, six couples connect, reconnect, or fall apart. Marked by nimble shifts in tone (the six stories range from romping farce to emotionally gutting drama) and a potent combination of innovative cinematic storytelling and evergreen themes of the difficulties and ultimate resiliency of love in all its many forms.

And they saw what they saw, they lived what they lived. Many stories lived. And although they did not tell anyone, others told them.

Feeling disgraced and laughed at, she sets off for Nice to join her mother.
