Paul Barral, mayor of a small mountain town at the foot of Mont-Blanc, is fighting to maintain business and protect the school from an announced closure. Not without determination, the Mayor may have found the solution.

Each episode takes the Grammy Award singer Natalie Grant to a church to match up one of their eligible singles. The church and pastor pick the guinea pig, who then consents. Various "matchmakers" in the church nominate eligible dates, someone they think would be good, and describes before the church why they picked the candidate. The church then narrows the field down to 3 finalists through ballot voting.

What does it mean to live in the city without a place you can call your own? What role can architects have in addressing homelessness? And how can cities become better homes for all? The documentary film What It Takes to Make a Home follows a conversation between architects Michael Maltzan (Los Angeles) and Alexander Hagner (Vienna), who have been grappling with these questions over many years and through various projects. While the cities and the political and economic contexts in which Maltzan and Hagner work differ, both search for long-term strategies for housing instead of reacting with ad hoc solutions. Focussing on some causes and conditions of homelessness, the film questions the role architects can play toward overcoming the stigmatization of people experiencing it, in order to build more inclusive cities.

The documentary follows Alex Adrian Sanchez, a fitness trainer who uses health, music, and his personal history of substance abuse to teach and enrich the lives of those around him. Leading by example, Alex trains two students in the +Results project, a program for LGBTQ youth. While both students come from different backgrounds, the group quickly learns from Alex that somethings in life require teamwork, which is necessary to overcome the challenges that lie ahead.
