With great expressive freedom, Diana Toucedo transports us to a seaside village in Galicia. We are invited to observe the work of the women who collect shellfish, and hear from their own voices their relationship with their trade, the heritage of matriarchy and their sense of belonging. Sailors at sea complement this genuine and devoted community of workers.

We all loved the movie about the Winter Storm. We liked how the Aurora shoots at the palace and paves the way with fire for the stormtroopers, who picturesquely climb the lattice gates. Meanwhile, the new government needed its own mythology of the "Great Coup", corresponding to its ideological dogmas and, at the same time, bright, impressive, capable of mobilizing the masses. All available cultural resources and, above all, the resources of cinema, which was not accidentally awarded the title of "the most important of the arts", were thrown into the creation of this mythology...

Lacking a coherent plot, We're All Riding on a Circus Elephant depicts the collapse of western civilization as a free-form collage advocating group anarchy and actor improvisation. The stage is a boxing ring. Those actors who are "onstage" get into the boxing ring and assault each other with words. Others heckle and cheer at the sidelines, or act as a rhythm-and-blues chorus while changing costumes or wigs. Taking as its coda Andy Warhol's dictum that everyone gets fifteen minutes of fame, actor transformations depict the Breakdown of Japanese values and selfhood due to an obsession with popular American culture.
