I Will Make it Worth Your While is a short film about a con man restaurant owner, Declan, who is desperate to save his business from the financial troubles he faces. Whilst ignoring the complaints of a suddenly redundant employee he latches onto a wealthy customer's story about a violin that could lead him to fortune. But this could also leave him in a vulnerable position. At its core, the film is a story about the lengths people will go to in order to achieve their goals and the consequences that come with those actions.

A boy from the Midwest comes to Hollywood in search of a dream: he wants to be a star. He finds acting teacher Aaron Gillespie who bills himself as "The Buddah of Buddahs" of acting teachers and gets entangled, together with a group of acting students, into the biggest scam in Hollywood: Acting Schools that promise anything you want to hear. "I will put an Oscar in your hands" are the words of Acting "Guru" Aaron Gillespie: and the story begins.... "Spinal Tap" meets "Fame" is the best way to describe this film.

For 30 years, Bishop Fred Jones and his family have performed on the southern gospel circuit, largely unseen by those outside the Pentecostal faith. When the Bishop, despite objections from many within his faith, decided to take his family’s musical ministry outside the church, he unexpectedly connected with the oddest of allies – a jaded, atheistic rock critic, who also happened to be a gospel historian. To Michael Corcoran, the Jones Family Singers represent a living link to a style of gospel he thought had disappeared. These most unlikely of friends bonded through perhaps their one shared trait -- a deeply rooted rebelliousness.

In 1971, Baldessari was commissioned by the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in Canada to create an original, on-site work. Unable to make the journey himself, he suggested that the students voluntarily write the phrase "I will not make any more boring art" on the gallery walls. Inspired by the work's completion — the students covered the walls with the phrase — Baldessari committed his own version of the piece to videotape. Like an errant schoolboy, he dutifully writes, "I will not make any more boring art" over and over again in a notebook for the duration of the tape. In an ironic disjunction of form and content, Baldessari's methodical, repetitive exercise deliberately contradicts the point of the lesson — to refrain from creating "boring" art.

This is an interesting little documentary about the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design, which was apparently one of the global hotbeds of experimental/avant garde art- particularly video art- back in the 70's & 80's. MacGillvary interviews a number of the artists that were formative to the program. Many of whom would go on to become teachers at the school.
