I Am From Austria－故郷は甘き調べ－

"I am from Austria" is a jukebox musical consisting of the songs by the Austrian songwriter Rainhard Fendrich. The musical premiered in September 2017 in Raimund Theater in Vienna. The plot circles around Emma Carter, a Hollywood star with Austrian roots, who who returns to her native country for the Vienna Opera Ball and to promote her new movie.

The setting is Hotel Edler, a long-established four-star hotel in Vienna. Josi Edler, the heir to the family-owned hotel, has been actively involved in the hotel's management and seeks to reform the hotel to make it fit with the times, as opposed to his parents who lean towards tradition and formality. Today, Hotel Edler is preparing for the reception of a coming guest: Emma Carter, the famous Austrian-born Hollywood star, who will stay at the hotel incognito. Unfortunately, a hotel employee has already revealed the top-secret news of Emma’s arrival through social media, and it causes chaos at the hotel...

Over 46 minutes, the film takes the viewer on a journey to discover different initiatives and cases where Chileans are contributing to mitigate the effects of climate change, from large-scale projects and scientific innovations to day-to-day citizen actions, all of which are collectively necessary. The focus of this documentary is to show how Chile is contributing to an issue that affects all of humanity, such as climate change, in five thematic areas: sustainable agriculture; forest and biodiversity conservation; renewable energy; the water crisis; and astronomy.

I Am the Empire – Live from the 013 is a live album by the symphonic power metal band Kamelot, released on August 14, 2020 via Napalm Records. It is the third live album and second live DVD/Blu-ray from the band. The album features guest appearances by Lauren Hart, Elize Ryd, Alissa White-Gluz and Charlotte Wessels. Filmmaker Nouf Aljowaysir found it impossible to give a clear answer to the question “where are you from?” since she was 13, when she went to live in the US. She was born in Saudi Arabia; her family originally came from Iraq. These are not just places you can point to on a map, search for on Google or look up in Wikipedia. They are also personal memories, smells, family ties and things that simply can’t be explained in a single sentence.

Women and men of different generations are re-united in Montevideo as they remember their years of exile in France, Mexico, Spain and Switzerland. They realize that eleven after years of military dictatorship, Uruguay is not the same as the country they left and they missed so much. After their return from exile they find themselves in situations that seem like another kind of exile, which is perhaps in some ways more painful. We observe them in their daily lives and listen to them talk about their efforts to find a job, to become creative, to go through with something they had left undone, to face the problems bequeathed to them by their drug use, to build new relationships with their parents and children, to make new friends and fall in love. If we choose nurture over nature, these people’s efforts are nothing more then the efforts we all make to get back on our feet after an inescapable misfortune

More than that however, it is a film about the dreams and hopes of the people there, about the universal human dream of a better life, and an “American Dream”, which turns out to be completely different than expected.
