Garden Of The Moon

The Super 8 film The Garden of Polymitas is a collaboration between Alberici and film maker Martha Jurksaitis (aka Cherry Kino) under the moniker Polymitas. The film also features guitarist Calvin Xang.

This is a story of two environmentalists, UN Special Envoy and celebrated yachtsman Sir Peter Blake and eco warrior Pete Bethune. Both were brutally attacked in the same city in the Brazilian Amazon on separate expeditions 16 years apart. One was murdered and one lives to tell the tale.

At Sakhne, one of the most popular parks in Israel, a varied collection of characters—recent immigrants, Zionist pioneers, Christians, Arabs and non-believers—coexist in an intricate microcosm of Israeli society. There are stories of camaraderie, loneliness, tolerance, intolerance, alienation and love. And each one, despite religion and politics, reminds us that we are, after all, one and the same. As summer turns to fall and winter, then spring, stories renew themselves with each new visitor that passes through the park gates.

Tulipe, is an old man who lives alone in an old railway carriage in the Argentueil region of Paris. His main passions are gardening and oil painting, but he also has a secret source of income. His godson discovers that Tulipe is actually a master forger, producing perfect copies of 10 franc notes. His godson’s girlfriend sees this as an opportunity to get very rich – but she must persuade Tulipe to forge 500 franc notes. Assuming Tulipe’s agreement, his godson and his girlfriend buy an expensive new car and luxury villa in provincial France – but there is a cruel turn of fate in store for them when Tulipe strikes up a friendship with a millionaire playboy.

Dejiko and Puchiko are all grown up! Instead of cooking up mischief, Dejiko now works at a local bakery, and Puchiko goes to school. Gone are the cat ears and the laser beam eyes, instead replaced by an everyday life that is nothing short of ordinary. But when Dejiko crosses paths with a handsome young man on Christmas Eve, will he bring the magic back to her mundane life? Or will the former alien princess miss her shot a true love?
