A new participatory documentary follows the lives of refugee families from Sudan and Ethiopia after reunion in the UK. Four families share the challenges of navigating everyday life hurdles as refugees, showing how complex memories and fears are mixed with new hopes and future plans for themselves and their children. Participant families chose to share these experiences in juxtaposition with everyday life activities like cooking, eating, or going to the park, revealing the humanity of their lives and raising awareness of the importance of living together in safety. The film offers a counter narrative to the current political focus on reinforcing border control and is a result of a research project conducted by the School of International Development at the University of East Anglia, in partnership with Together Now, and funded by the British Academy and the UEA ADR Impact Fund (Higher Education Research Funding).

Award-winning documentary director, Jason DaSilva was found diagnosed with Primary Progressive Multiple Sclerosis years ago while filming his film in India. Since then, Jason have been going through series of unfortunate challenges like being trapped in New York City due to his disability caused by MS, got divorced with his beloved wife and trying to stay close with his son who is now in Texas with his ex-wife.

The film's author is against the military aggression launched by his country. He leaves Russia and travels to Germany, where his friend is helping Ukrainian refugees flee to the West. Meanwhile, the director's parents, who have fled Ukraine to Moldova, are waiting for his help. His adult son, in the meantime, who has stayed in Russia, talks with him on Skype about how Russia is fighting global evil and the importance of being a patriot and supporting one's country.

Free composition movie is that defines the real substance of day to day life with sensation achieved by connecting scenes that are independent from one another.
