In the early 2000s, the landscape of French rap undergoes a transformation, opening up to new horizons. A look at the birth, evolution, and legacy of an original rap that left a mark with its boldness and the novelty of its sounds and themes.

He is known as the "Trump of the tropics, " the "Cavalo, " the uncontrollable horseman, the disruptive populist, or even "The Myth. " Known for his anti-communist rhetoric, his provocative words on Amazonia, the dictatorship, women, homosexuality, firearms, and now for his seemingly unreadable governance. In reality, D'un film à l'autre is more than a series of film excerpts, interviews, and making-of documents (some of which possess an undeniable historical value, like that from A Man and A Woman, or the final performances of Patrick Dewaere).
