The northern soul phenomenon was the most exciting underground British club movement of the 1970s. At its highpoint, thousands of disenchanted white working class youths across the north of England danced to obscure, mid-60s Motown-inspired sounds until the sun rose. A dynamic culture of fashions, dance moves, vinyl obsession and much more grew up around this - all fuelled by the love of rare black American soul music with an express-train beat.
In this programme, three celebrities take on iconic, long-distance hikes in some of the world's most remote locations. On this expedition, ex-politician Stanley Johnson, TV presenter Melanie Sykes and German comedian Henning Wehn tackle Mexico's little explored but famous Copper Canyon. It is a stunning wilderness in the heart of the Sierra Madre Mountains of north west Mexico. Over the course of a week, our trio experience an enticing challenge through difficult and remote terrain, an unforgiving climate and unfamiliar culture. They carve a route through breathtaking scenery, endless steep valleys, gorges and plateaux, setting up camp each night.
The tides in the Wadden Sea follow the rhythm of the moon, and the boat adjusts its course accordingly. The seagull follows the rhythm of man – it has become dependent on the fish waste that the fisherman leaves behind during the week, and on the weekends, when the fisherman is watching football, hunger threatens. Seagulls Scream on the Weekend provides an insight into the intertwined rhythms of the Wadden Sea region, and examines the relationship between boat, man and seagull.

The lives of three lifelong buddies in a small New England fishing town will never be the same after The Week That Girl Died, a touching romantic comedy about finding Ms. Right-at all the wrong times. Vinnie (Erik Palladino) bumps into the attractive Jessie(Brigitte Bako) at his uncle's wake, and when his aunt mistakes her for his latest girlfriend, she gladly plays the part-leaving out one small detail. Jimmy(Robert Longstreet) sets his sights on the seedy part of town-only to find love (Justina Machado) waiting for him in the least likely of places. And Ralph (Patrick Fischler) woke up a virgin on Friday morning only to have that situation reversed two times over by Saturday night. With an original score by jazz musician Kevin Eubanks (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno) "The Week That Girl Died" takes the notion of the romantic comedy and gives it a dose of what real people go through.

The present film has followed those visually challenged actors through different phases of practising theatre. Also, this documentary captures a few scenes of Rabindranath Tagore's play “Raktakarabi” (Red Oleanders), being staged by those visually challenged performers.
