The Great Seer is a 2012 South Korean historical television series, starring Ji Sung, Ji Jin-hee, Song Chang-eui, Kim So-yeon and Lee Yoon-ji. When the governor comes to town, Mr. Quigley's band provides the music. But the band members don't handle long, boring speeches well. Meanwhile, Yuki learns respect for other people's belongings when she tries to work in her Grandpa's musical instrument repair shop. The kids enjoy a lesson on good phone manners and the story of Eli and Samuel shows the children where all respect and good manners ought to come from respecting God.

This is a story about generations and the importance of preserving historical memory. The grandmother of one of the protagonists, Svitlana Zalishchuk, left behind a diary in which she recorded her memories of the terrible times. Veronika, a 12-year-old girl from Uman, and her mother made a film for the Autumn on Pluto 2.0 project about her grandmother Ksenia Logvyniuk, who told us where people found food and how they escaped starvation. Sasha, another 12-year-old protagonist of the film, did not find her great-grandmother alive, but she recreated her relative's experiences based on her father's stories.

Maria suffers from the strangest illness; it resembles cancer but with one distinct difference: it somehow connects Maria to the fate of a 15th century woman named Donna Maria. Maria begins to time travel, gradually discovering the absolute brutality of history. She learns that Donna Maria was a Hungarian princess taken to a Bursa harem as a concubine of Ottoman's Sultan.

An unappreciated old granny magically turns 20 years old again and decides to make the most of her newfound youth.
