In 2000, Kaganof collaborated with four other filmmakers on the cinematic manifesto Sonic Fragments - The Poetics of Digital Fragmentation (2000). Later, Kaganof would re-edit his segment and release it as the 'remix manifesto' Sonic Fragments: The Radikal-Re:Mix. The original film was a tribute to its narrator Charles Manson. Unfortunately, Mr. Manson does not narrate the remix.

Dr. Robotnik's Revenge is the first DVD of Sonic Underground episodes to be released. An episode of The Super Mario Bros. Super Show! is also included as a bonus feature. The total running time of the DVD is approximately 76 minutes.

In the summer of 2006, a group of seven high school students from Reno, NV, set out to make a documentary on Sonic Youth. As part of a non-profit organization called 'Project Moonshine,' these teens were given cameras and a few days of training and set loose to record a day in the life of Sonic Youth. Shot on the 4th of July, this intimate documentary is a behind the scenes look at one of the most influential indie bands of all time and contains some of the most insightful and candid concert footage ever recorded. Shot in glorious black and white, highlights in the set include 'Tom Violence,' 'Shaking Hell,' 'Mote,' 'Incinerate' and 'Kool Thing.' Filled with behind-the-scenes interviews with Kim Gordon, Thurston Moore, Lee Ranaldo as well as their guitar techs and sound engineers, original performances and a little basketball, the result is a point of view that is authentically refreshing, with an honesty and innocence not often found in veteran documentary filmmakers.

Sonic Youth performs in the music video "Scooter + Jinx (Moneylove)" from the album "Goo" recorded for Geffen Records. An instrumental by Sonic Youth plays, as a photographer offers a model money in order to pose nude. Photographs are taken before the photographer gives the model a massage. The video is set to a 1990 Richard Kern film entitled "Money Love".

Sonic travels around the entire globe at high speed while touring all the best landmarks and explains through doodle drawings.
