The programme starts with a visit to the Wherry lines to the east of Norwich, where we see the old semaphore signals in operation during their final months before replacement by colour light signalling. It is the East Coast Main Line that we visit next as we study class 91s and HSTs at speed on this classic main line. Soon the current-day rail scene along this stretch will change forever with new ‘Azuma’ IETs due for large scale introduction. We head to the Peak District next and a study of stone workings near Buxton. Class 37 number 716 is the stand out star with some classic thrash action as it toils away shunting heavy stone trains. The programme concludes with a trip to the Severn Valley Railway as we attend the Class 50s Golden Jubilee Gala held in early October 2018.
The programme begins with a day visit to Cardiff Central Station to view the everyday train types and traffic to be seen. A wide variety of DMU types are featured including endangered class 142s. Our second section covers the busy freight and passenger line between Ely and March and on towards Peterborough. The third section sees us visit the Gloucestershire-Warwickshire Railway for a ride behind 26043. We remain in Gloucestershire as we head to Standish Junction near Stroud as we view a number of recent special trains and unusual workings. LNER HSTs, Steam in the form of Duchess of Sutherland and freight trains are all witnessed.

Linda is applying for a job as a TV reporter. On her way there, she witnesses the death of a woman and without her noticing, the victim slips a mini disc into Linda’s bag, before dying. The mini disc contains the picture of the woman dying on the street. Then the image in the mini disc is broadcast, with Linda acting as the presenter. The murderer watches the news report and makes Linda the next target.

This is the first in a new DVD series featuring trains and action from the National Network as well as on the many varied and interesting Heritage Lines in Britain. We begin in the far South-West as we call at Penzance, Marazion and St.Erth. Our May 2018 visit sees HSTs (pre-Hitachi InterCity Express Train era) working between Long Rock Depot, the station and on towards London. Voyagers, Sprinters and also Class 57s on the sleeper service to and from London also appear. The Severn Valley Railway is visited next on a typical running day in February 2018 as well as at the excellent Spring diesel Gala. Next we look at everyday services through Lancing on the West Sussex Coastway: class 313 and 377 feature. The Bluebell Railway follows with action from running days and then the visit of three Deltics for the Deltic Preservation Society’s 40th Anniversary event. Finally we have extended coverage of the ‘40s at 60‘ event held at the East Lancashire Railway in April 2018.

Rodrigo tries his best to keep his forbidden relationship with his teacher going, but it all ends in vain. After announcing the distance, the teacher blocks the student from all their social networks.

Then she extends the game to the body’s relationship with mobile phones, pandemic masks – anything with which we interact. As in all her work, Vasof makes the familiar deeply unfamiliar.
