A concert with André Rieu which takes place in one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world, the famous Semper Opera in Dresden. As well as the famous ‘Vienna Debutantes’, there are 40 fabulous pairs of dancers from the same Elmayer Dance School in Vienna, the sopranos Mirusia Louwerse and Carmen Monarcha, the Platinum Tenors, baritone Morschi Franz and the Johann Strauss Orchestra and Choir. The audience at the Semper Opera are not just enthusiastic, they are delirious... carried along by the beautiful waltzes, the fiery paso doble, the gorgeous arias from opera and operettas, humorous scenes, and moving songs from The Phantom of the Opera. Themed around Johan Strauss' famous waltz of the same name, Roses From The South sees Andre venturing to the amazing sub tropical paradise island of Mainau, just off the south shore of Germany. Known as the 'Flower Island' due it its unique exotic gardens, Mainau and its majestic palace grounds provide the perfect picturesque setting for Andre and his Johan Strauss Orchestra to perform a spellbinding set in front of a sea of adoring fans.

A portion of "Love Around The World" takes place on a beautiful cruise ship called the MS Deutchland; the other portion is filmed at various locations. There are 13 songs on the DVD, plus 3 bonus selections; there is also a section of special features with a discography section. The special features section is very interesting and very enjoyable.

This is not concert/music disk, it is much more, it has interviews with Andre' (in Dutch with subtitles). It shows Andre' at home, old video footage of when he was a child and teenager. It is of course filled with Andre's beautiful music also, through out, clips from concerts etc. It shows behind the scenes, what happens backstage etc. It is very enjoyable, it is interesting seeing him do a little bit of shopping at his local shop, playing with his dog in his beautiful mansion and grounds.
