Green Patriot Posters is a highly acclaimed multimedia design campaign that challenges artists to deepen public understanding and ignite collective action in the fight against climate change. So far, it has reached five million people through print media, public space and digital culture. The film features interviews with key Green Patriot Posters contributors (Shepard Fairey, Michael Bierut, DJ Spooky, Mathilde Fallot) and its founders (The Canary Project, Dmitri Siegel).

Last Friday 12 Sept. 2021 , the Swiss Criminal Court issued its first judgment against Sheikh Ahmed Al-Fahd Al-Sabah, President of the Olympic Council of Asia (resigned from him last Friday), the former Kuwaiti minister and a member of the ruling family, after convicting him of forging a Swiss arbitration award linked to a “fake coup plot.” Al-Fahd tried to promote it to eliminate his political opponents inside Kuwait, namely the former Prime Minister Sheikh Nasser Al-Mohammed Al-Sabah, and the late former Speaker of the National Assembly (parliament) Jassem Al-Kharafi, according to Reuters.

When Khalil, a primary school teacher in Berlin, gets hold of images of war from his Kurdish hometown of Cizre, he is forced to question his entire existence in Berlin. When Post Office subpostmasters up and down the country started to experience big shortfalls in their accounts, Post Office assumed they were stealing the money and prosecuted them. Hundred were given criminal convictions and many were sent to prison. Lives, marriages, reputations – all ruined. The shortfalls were in fact, a result of errors in the Post Office’s own IT system, known as Horizon. It was something the Post Office had always denied. For over twenty years, former subpostmaster Alan Bates has fought tirelessly for justice for all the subpostmasters who were so poorly treated by the brand they had loved. This is his story.

Over the course of many years, Jerimy and I built a relationship depicted in sound and image. I take on the role of observer, documentarian, friend, therapist, house guest, instigator, social scientist, mother and fetishist. Jerimy takes on the role of performer, object of desire, interlocutor, storyteller, muse, and informant. Our relationship forms the narrative of this feature length film. More than just immersing myself in the daily experience of his life, I wanted to make something that represented the peculiar power relationship between subject and documenter, by looking at the ways that I provoked, empowered and exploit my ‘subject’. The work reveals myself as an artist that knowingly glorifies and fetishizes her subject’s sexuality and youthful vitality, as well as a documentary that publicly teeters on the line between pleasure and suffering, lust and adoration, friendship and fascism.
