A sickly village girl wants to marry a house painter, who only prefers to fool around.

An underprivileged villager and a victim of caste-driven politics in his village, forced to run away with his daughter Saraswati, but returns after undergoing a spiritual reincarnation, which in turn changes how the village receives him.
