Planning to rest and recharge his batteries, Haggerty fins his brother Nate locked in deadly and soon to turn violent battle with the mayor in attempting to locate a toxic waste disposal dump in his town. What follows is an action-packed race with non-stop excitement to drive the mayor out of Macon County!

The film follows the creation of the play "As Comadres" in post 2018 Brazil (after Bolsonaro's election), supervised by Ariane Mnouchkine, founder of Théâtre du Soleil in France. 20 women from different backgrounds come together, to bring to life this musical about the female universe. Beyond the theatrical questions, the film throws light on the women's desire and constant efforts to escape the dominant mechanisms of our society (including racism, for instance) and reformulate the paradigms of collective work.
