Insights into Brancusi’s legacy are presented by Carl Andre, Lynda Benglis, Ellsworth Kelly, Martin Puryear, Richard Serra, and Joel Shapiro, with additional commentary on Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, Roy Lichtenstein, Isamu Noguchi,and Claes Oldenburg. In 1995, Anne d’Harnoncourt, Director Emeritus of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, asked Checkerboard to document the PMA’s acclaimed retrospective on Brancusi for the Museum’s archive. The resulting footage became the genesis of the documentary.

This silent film is from a body of work made in the film maker's home during the Covid-19 pandemic when he found it difficult to make other work due to social distancing. The work consists of films of the walls of the interior of his house, or views of the outside world filmed through windows of the house. This is a short time lapse film showing the movement of areas of light and shadows across a wall in the corner of a room over a period of several hours.

Climate change is a real problem in our world. Having discussions about it can get us that much closer to solving the problem. Emma Mautz went on a cross-country trip in summer 2019, and interviewed people about climate change. These interviews form her documentary, “A Discussion on Climate Change,” which brings people across the country together into one conversation. This documentary was made to spread awareness about climate change, one of the biggest issues our society faces today.

Three survivors of an apocalypse struggle to finish their masterpiece, YEEHAW UMBRELLA.

To support her younger sisters, Polly Vance finds work as a live-in companion to the aging Johanna Webb. Johanna's nephew, Chester Creigg, quarrels with his aunt and severs relations with her, because of her cruel treatment of her new employee, after which Polly returns to her old home. Then, when a fire breaks out at Polly's house, Chester rushes over to save her sisters, but loses his eyesight during the rescue. Convalescing from his burns, Chester learns that Johanna has died and marvels at the similarity between her and the old housemaid who is now taking care of him.
