Since 2016, YR has dedicated itself to the ongoing exchange of its creative processes and focuses on the conscious abolition of any type of judgement. YR uses real life experiences and observations as its basic materials – what emerges is a growing collection of inner and outer realities by way of image, sound and text. The artists see themselves as storytellers who observe and question, document and recycle. This continuum can be understood as a sketchbook without a fixed vision. «notes of forms I» is the first audio-visual collection (journal movie) outside their ongoing blog work, in which YR exclusively uses materials from its artistic processes between January and March 2021

In the hills of Costa Rica, Doña Carmen struggles to pass on her tribe's traditional ways of life. She must soon marry off her only granddaughter, and 70-year-old shaman Don Claudio lays his claim to the girl, who is only 12 and already impregnated by him. When the girl befriends the young son of a visiting anthropologist, it forces a collision between the modern world and the ancient one.

The film is about a teenager discovering herself through the strange emotion she has for her girl best friend! As the story progresses, she faces an unprecendented truth about her identity that changes her way of thinking in the future.

In Indonesia, in the Padang district, an open landfill site borders the forest. A landscape of precipitous terrain, with its crest lines and its chasms, serves as a pasture for several hundred cows. Amidst the dance of the diggers and trucks discharging their loads onto the slopes of a mountain of rubbish, a herd makes its way through the chaos, in search of something to graze. This nightmarish decor in which bovines live, copulate, play, sleep and die, becomes the scene of an appalling spectacle.
