Don Plascencio has a collection of men he uses like radio stations: in a routine aural examination each man plays a different musical piece instead of the usual heartbeat.

Adapted from a novel by Edmond Wilson, the story follows two men, a horde of teals, and hundreds of snapping turtles as they collide in an absurd world.

Parmin is always rejected by his wife, Sinta, when he wants to have sex. Sinta was traumatized by her half-sister and stepfather, so she married Parmin to cover up her pregnancy. Sinta falls into a lesbian relationship with Sumiyati, who is a lesbian because all her sisters are women, and her relationships with men are strictly monitored by her parents. Sumiyati already has another girlfriend, Novita, a wife who has a husband with another sexual disorder: sadism. Expired film stock, DIY shooting and development often lead to mistakes. For instance, some of the material is good, but some is «sticky» when film sticks in the development tank leaving undeveloped an area up to 20 cm wide.
