The story is about a poor shoemaker named Simon and his wife Matrena who, moved by pity, take in a man Simon finds naked and hungry. The man turns out to be more than what Simon thought.

Four middle-aged men concoct a scheme which involves them insuring their lives, so that if one of them dies the others inherit a tidy sum. Suddenly fate throws a darkly comic chain of mishaps their way:

Twelve Angry Men is a 1954 teleplay by Reginald Rose for the Studio One anthology television series. Initially staged as a CBS live production on 20 September 1954, the drama was later rewritten for the stage in 1955 under the same title and again for a feature film, 12 Angry Men (1957). The episode garnered three Emmy Awards for writer Rose, director Franklin Schaffner and Robert Cummings as Best Actor.

One stormy winter night, soaking wet 20 year old Ilias arrives uninvited at Petros’ house. Ilias’ erratic behaviour causes much concern to Petros. He vaguely remembers meeting Ilias one night some years ago, in a gay bar. As the night goes on, unsettling truths come to the fore, and as much as Petros would like to be rid of his guest, some truths will stay with you forever.

A married former art student decides to start painting again, because her children are out of the house and her husband neglects her. However, that is not easy.

The title refers to Yueh Yang and Liu Chia Chang as two men, the former uncultured and uneducated but warm and genuine, and the other promising and dashing but irresponsible. Having to make a difficult choice after an affair with the latter is Lan Yi-li who has spurned the security of her husband for something more exciting but in the end more tragic.

Yasu (played by Matoba Koji) enjoys fishing at his leisure and works as a private detective. His childhood friend and partner, Kenju (played by Osawa Mikio), runs a bar where people pushed to the brink of life come for help. Their next client is Daisuke, a junior from their middle school days. Despite marrying into a wealthy family, Daisuke is treated like a slave. His wife, now the mistress of a yakuza, orders him to find the "Bodhisattva statue," an inherited treasure that was sold off. As Yasu and Kenju begin their search, they uncover that the statue hides a "nuclear secret" capable of shaking the nation. A chaotic black comedy where yakuza, politicians, loan sharks, and a Korean spy organization clash with their own agendas!

This is a distinctive example of a documentary film revealing the disparity between the official gender discourse and the social reality of the Polish female.

After a stormy night on the sea, a group of Estonian fishermen end up in a small coastal Finnish town. As they await the Soviet authorities to take them back home, some of the fishermen contemplate leaving their former lives in a Soviet era Estonia behind.

Deaw’s parents got separated, like many of his friends, who also have many problems at school, so they finally all got kicked out. Once out of school, they all want to travel by hitchhiking; one time they almost get arrested because the truck they are riding in is carrying some illegal merchandise. When they get back home, they keep on encouraging Deaw to study hard until finally he passed the entrance exam. Deaw keeps on writing his diary every time when he’s thinking about his father who he has not seen for two years.

The two lead roles (Liang Tien & Chang Ying) are in competition (never really explained why), teaching people lesson (including each other), but when the going gets tough, they join forces.
