Le Village is set in a small French Canadian village. It's about people searching for a little more out of life and how this search inadvertently, because of the size of the town, culminates into a dramatic event that changes the course of the whole town.

In order to be in her older brother's music video, Clara, a 13-year-old tomboy, agrees to undergo a radical change of style. She soon notices that this transformation changes her brother's friend's behaviour towards her.

The show will be seen in a new staging of the opera curated by the Modenese theater in coproduction with I Teatri di Reggio Emilia, directed by Cristina Pezzoli, the scenes by Giacomo Andrico, the costumes by Andrea Grazia and the lights by Mauro Panizza. He directs Pier Giorgio Morandi, at the helm of the Filarmonica of the Italian Opera Bruno Bartoletti and the choir of the Coro Lirico Association of Città di Piacenza - Teatro Comunale di Modena. Le Villi was the first work for the theater composed by Giacomo Puccini and constituted the decisive step towards his glory as an international opera artist. The opera, which lasted an hour and a half, was performed for the first time at the Teatro Dal Verme in Milan on 31 May 1884. The Italian libretto by Ferdinando Fontana is based on the story Les Willis that Jean-Baptiste Alphonse Karr developed his turn from the ballet Giselle, music by Adolphe Adam on text by Théophile Gautier (1841).

Boys' college in eastern Quebec at the end of the 1940s. Brother Jean is not a teacher like the others. He wants to interest his students in the subject and to achieve this, he conducts archaeological excavations with his students aimed at proving the establishment of a Viking colony (Vinland) on the coast of the Saint Lawrence. The superiors of his congregation do not appreciate his unconventional ways of teaching. Without knowing it, Brother Jean will have a significant impact on the lives of his students, particularly in that of Émile, a young man who is having difficulty at school and who would prefer to abandon his studies to go work in a factory.

A Belgian village is struck by repeated flooding, all this because they lack a new sewer. But the Ministry delays in providing the funding needed to build it. To alert public opinion, the villagers decide to do something. This "something" will be a play describing the life of their saint patron. Trouble follows, partly fueled by the short-tempered mayor.
