A woman sweeps the floor, then hands the broom to a man: he sweeps a bit, and hands it back to her. In this film, named after Vasari’s biography of Giorgione, man and woman reenact Manet and Titian, switch places, and in so doing, exchange their nudity and the gaze that seeks it. In voiceover, a woman reads a letter telling of her efforts to sign up her daughter in daycare ; other kafkaesque situations follow, drawing wth humour the picture of a life of submission to an absurd administrative power. In the frame, birds and their choreographies echo the wanderings of the two characters in the Camargue countryside. (Nathan Letoré)

L'Opéra National de Paris' production of L'Amour des Trois Oranges must certainly be one of the most elaborate operatic presentations. It has a cast of gazillions, characters who fly, jugglers, fire-eaters, remarkably elaborate costumes, amazingly realistic props (those five-foot oranges are convincingly juicy and edible looking), a huge set, fireworks, and so on. In fact, at times, it looks more like a Cirque de Soleil show than something you'd see in an opera house. Director Gilbert Deflo's conception and William Orlandi's costumes and sets are rooted in commedia dell'arte, but the production is thoroughly eclectic, with allusions to a wonderfully weird assortment of styles and periods.

Ten years after the first riots the media no longer speak of the Greek crisis. Everything suggests that the austerity cure has succeeded and that calm has returned. This film proves the opposite. In the neighborhood of Exarcheia threatened with evacuation the heart of the resistance welcomes the refugees in self-management. A trip to music among those who dream of love and revolution.

Peterson (33-3-1, 17 KO) is coming off of a debated loss to Danny Garcia in April, while Diaz (17-0, 8 KO) fought on the undercard that night, beating Gabriel Bracero in a ten-round decision. Diaz, 31, has really not stood out as a pro after winning gold in Beijing for the Dominican Republic, but he's got talent and might be someone who just needs a fight to get up for, and this is easily his biggest shot to date. In the co-feature, we'll see two undefeated, tall welterweight prospects, as six-footers Prichard Colon (16-0, 13 KO) and Terrel Williams (14-0, 12 KO) meet in a 10-round bout, which replaces the canceled Andre Dirrell-Blake Caparello fight on the broadcast.
