The Story of Ah King could be summarised in four words, "meeting the wrong guy", but Joyce has created a most poignant episode, one that has dialogue peppered with lively slang. Ah King (Louise Lee), who tries hard to break off from her jammed public housing life, gets married, only ending up in another abusive relationship. Given her circumstances, Ah King really doesn't have much choices. Both episodes feature superb scripts and stunning performances.

King Koopa's Kool Kartoons was a local, American live-action children's television show broadcast in Southern California during the holiday season of 1989-'90. Produced by DIC Entertainment and in association with Nintendo, the show starred King Koopa, the central arch-villain from the Mario video game series. The 30-minute program was originally broadcast during late afternoon time slots on Los Angeles-based KTTV Fox 11. It was a spin-off to The Super Mario Bros. Super Show!

King Cole's Birthday Party was an early American children's television series which aired on the DuMont Television Network. The program was broadcast from 1947 to 1949. Little is known about the series. Each 30-minute episode featured the real birthday of a child. The series was sponsored by the Jay Day Dress Company of New York. The program was first broadcast locally over DuMont's WABD in New York City. By early 1948, King Cole's Birthday Party was aired nationally on DuMont's chain of stations. The final broadcast was on June 23, 1949. Among the people to have hosted the program included Bill Slater and Ted Brown.
