Jennifer Lopez Presents: Como Ama una Mujer, simply referred to as Como Ama una Mujer, is an American five-part miniseries based on the lyrics from the Jennifer Lopez album of the same name. It aired on the Univision Television Network in the fall of 2007. At the end of each episode, Lopez performs the theme song that inspired that episode. The five episodes were released as a two disc DVD set on December 18, 2007 in the United States.

Jennifer is melancholic and romantically unsatisfied transgender who lives in a studio apartment in Naples. In the meantime a serial killer is claiming victims in her neighborhood. She is waiting for a phone call from Franco, an engineer from Genoa currently in Milan for work, with whom she had a relationship some time before, but there are malfunctions in the telephone line. Anna, another transgender, comes to help her and they start to know each other.

In August 2006, caregivers at the Sonoma Developmental Center found dark blue bruises shaped like handprints covering the breasts of a patient named Jennifer. The Office of Protective Services opened an investigation. But detectives took no action because the case relied heavily on the word of a woman with severe intellectual disabilities. A few months later, court records show, officials at the center had indisputable evidence that a crime had occurred. "In Jennifer’s Room" is part of a reporting package that recently won a George Polk and an IRE award, and was named a finalist in the Pulitzer Prize’s Public Service category.

The film unfolds the life of an enclosed monastery over the course of one day. It invites the audience into a world of enclosure which is rarely seen from the inside. It is a portrait of both the interior of the building and of Jennifer, a Carmelite nun.
