Wanted was a short-lived half-hour CBS crime documentary television series hosted by Walter McGraw, which aired in the 1955-1956 season at 10:30 EST on Thursdays following the original version of The Johnny Carson Show. This Wanted had a format similar to the subsequent Unsolved Mysteries on NBC, hosted by Robert Stack and Fox Channel's America's Most Wanted, with John Walsh. Like the two later series, Wanted features re-enactments of actual crimes and profiles fugitives from justice. Viewers were urged to telephone information that they may have about each case presented on the series. Declared a "flop" by Billboard magazine, Wanted aired only from October 20, 1955, to January 12, 1956. ABC aired no program at the time Wanted was on the schedule. The series ran opposite the last half-hour of NBC's long-running Lux Video Theatre.

Australia's Most Wanted was a television program based on the format made popular by America's Most Wanted. It screened on the Seven Network from 1989 until 1999. An attempt was made to revive the show by the rival Nine Network after the Seven network axed it, but this format was far from successful and was axed after only six weeks. The show was often in the headlines due to its graphic crime scene re-enactments which many deemed too frightening for the show's 7:30pm Monday timeslot. Featured presenters on the various incarnations of the show included: ⁕Bryan Marshall - 1989 ⁕Ann Sanders - 1993 ⁕Sarah Henderson - 1994 ⁕Roger Climpson - 1997-99 ⁕Alastair Duncan - Voiceover ⁕Hugh Riminton - Host During 1993, the regular NSW police representative was Senior Constable Denise Behringer. In 2013, Channel Ten Australia re-booted the series calling it WANTED. Hosts are Sandra Sully and Matt Doran.

Dogshitter Wants is a series of ten short cartoons broadcast during the early hours of the morning on MTV2. The programme was made by Matt Miller and Dominic del Torto in Flash. It is self-proclaimed, "Officially the most best insane cartoon." It was puzzling statements such as these, in particular, that helped it gain initial notoriety. It also sparked immediate controversy through its inflammatory name and subliminal content. Dogshitter Wants is a cult show and a vehicle for the surreal sketches and word play of del Torto and Miller. Although ostensibly concerned with jokes about cultural figures like Elton John & Michel Gondry, quite large parts of the show were impenetrably obscure, and were probably only fully understood by the creators and their immediate friends and associates, particularly those who were part of the dot com industry centred around Brick Lane in London, England. Dogshitter Wants, although only achieving minor commercial success, takes a small place in the peculiar tradition of English psychedelia and wordplay influenced by Lewis Carroll. The shows were produced in the Biganimal studios in the Old Truman Brewery in Brick Lane. The music of alternate electronica band Add n to (x) feature in each episode, but were not broadcast by MTV2 for copyright reasons. The studio created original music for broadcast under the name Terrirer Sex Tantrum. The original music remains on the Dogshitter Wants website.

This video is about puberty, changes, and sex safety. Hosted by two teens (Z Wright and Stephanie Yu), this hour-long program (which is also airing as a 3-2-1 Contact special this month on PBS) uses explicit animation and frank discussions with high-comfort-level sex-education counselors to explain how both boys and girls mature physically — and how they’ll want to act once they do. The kids on camera ask questions about everything from wet dreams to menstruation to sexual intercourse, including safe sex. Intended for kids 8 and older, the program also defines some sexual slang that grade-schoolers may hear on the playground, but words that double as curses are discreetly left out.
