A young writer sends secret love letters to her neighbor, whom she spies on her window every day. He reads and collects them until one day, lacking inspiration, he appropriates one of them and sends it to his beloved. From here on, these letters of love, and some other heartbreaking ones, will travel between different characters who will steal each other's words, until they end up halfway around the world.

He still loves her though. Yun-gu decides that the only way he and Ae-shim can be together forever is to die together. Yun-gu pretends to be a pawn in Ae-shim's plans but then leaps off the cliff with her, killing them both. Jun-tae ends up getting caught by the police.

Early films, drawn from online repositories and the Korean Film Archive, are dissolved and reimagined by AI, seemingly in an infinite cycle of rebirth. In this mesmerising process, the boundaries between memory, spectatorship and the cinematic experience are redefined.
