The heroes of the film were the participants of the volunteer fire brigade. Where do they get the strength to fight a fire that cannot be extinguished? After all, the wildfires that happen every year cannot be extinguished forever – this war never ends. What is the strength of these people - volunteer firefighters - and what is their weakness? The film was created with donations from future viewers and became an example of a successful crowdfunding campaign. The project originated at the Fair of Ideas for Directors and Civil Activists, held within the framework of "Make a Movie" - 2013.

Jean feels the passion of love and sense of life in his relationship with Labinota, who had her life destroyed with the war.

On December 23, 1933, he was sentenced to death, while his four co-defendants were acquitted.
