A history of the Spanish Transition told in first person by the main protagonists: on the one hand, the politicians, idealistic or merely opportunistic, who brought it to a successful conclusion in the tribunes and offices; on the other hand, the citizens who, in the streets, supported it sincerely or fought it with ferocity.

Divided into 10 segments we hear from cast and crew. We learn about filming the opening ferry explosion, Washington's character and performance, makeup and costumes, the Time Lab and technological issues, the car chase, shooting in New Orleans, the Washington/Bruckheimer/Scott collaboration, physical sequences, and the concluding ferry scene.

For a long time, the town of Cherán, in Michoacán, was harried by members of the drug traffic who would extort the population, and destroy the forests nearby. Armed with sticks and stones, the inhabitants of the region decided to join forces and to banish the organised crime, to end with the clandestine tree felling and to reforest the forests.

Since then, this town in the South-East of Mexico has experienced an unexpected – not only for Mexico but for the entire world – sexual liberation. Homosexual men who wish to dress as women freely do so, and live a more or less similar life as their heterosexual fellow citizens.
