Several years after "Mood Indigo," his adaptation of Boris Vian's 1947 novel "Froth on a Daydream," Michel Gondry returns, with his characteristic originality and uniqueness, to further explore his overwhelming experience with Vian's work. Gondry narrates this short autobiographical animation as an homage to his beloved novelist and trumpeter.

In Varja Mocnik's documentary, members of former Yugoslav rock band Buldozer, their friends and fans reminisce about the time of the release of the band's debut album Pljuni istini u oci (1975). Their accounts interlace with fictitious scenes, the record artwork, archive material and animation, to ultimately come together into an inventive, surrealist film that speaks not just of the legendary album, but also of the society and reality of the time.

When I told Johan van de Keuken I wanted to make a film about him and his work, we decided to make a film in a film, that is I would shoot the making of the film he was supposed to make about the Chinese photographer ToSang who would be making photographs of his clients. The film won a Jury Award in Figuiera da Foz, Portugal.
