When Daisy saves the life of police officer Markos she is immediately promoted to the drug department of the police. Markos falls in love with her and they start going out until he asks her to marry him. That's exactly when she meets a junkie named Tasos Bekiris and falls in love with him. When he is murdered by a mysterious woman all the clues lead to Daisy who tries to prove her innocence. As she discovers, this woman is in charge of a drug-smuggling racket and she is also planning to import a huge quantity of heroin in Athens. Daisy kills her and arrives at their meeting place along with Markos.

The act of communicating (and sometimes miscommunication) with the locals morphed from being a hurdle into the leading crux of my film. Challenged with the notion of “How not to make a film,” this film serves as a reminder to look closely at the world around me, that the graciousness, kindness and spirituality embedded in the people of Yucatan will always be a memory to me, of the possibility of human connection across languages and freedom in embracing the unknown.

A large number of workers, mostly young women, leave by the front door of their work place at lunch time. The building has an impressive colonnaded facade, and is located at 181, Santa Catarine St., Porto - one of the city's main streets. A passengers' horse cart crosses from right to left of the screen, and a few seconds after an ox cart carrying merchandise crosses in the opposite direction. A young man is standing in a hospital room inhabited by his mentally ill mother. She is asleep; instead of waking her, he leaves the room. In search of distraction, he drifts through day and night. He embarks on a series of events that bring light into his fears, his identity conflicts, and his desire for a sense of belonging in this world.

A divorced couple have to go on a trip for the mental health of their only daughter after three years. During the trip, the truth of their past lives are revealed, facts that have led to their separation. The health of their child hangs in the balance as they continue their confrontations, potentially jeopardising their new relationships and their futures.
