This second “Report” is made in the context of a severe systemic crisis in the cultural, economic-financial, political and energy fields. Above all, it nevertheless bears witness to the way civil society is coming out of this crisis with a new prominence, consisting quite simply in ordinary people’s recovering politics.

The filmmaker Julián Pintos and his alter ego find themselves confined to their isolated home in the countryside during the pandemic ravaging Europe in the 21st century and embark on a strange journey of initiation, in which they will meet the mysterious Silver Mask (Myriam) and the two disturbing theatre masks, muses of comedy and tragedy, split into Esther and Diana. The characters are trapped in an enigmatic time tunnel and their only escape is to find the heart of Europe, recalling their respective pasts linked to the Old Continent and bringing to the surface the deepest ghosts and fears that each of them hides.

Daytime they share the place with workers, building the new Stockholm. The main character of the film Thomas, has for three years been sleeping in a rat infested spot under a loading bridge. Now he is not even allowed to stay there and is going to be evicted. He gives a passionate speech about dignity, human rights and his fight to live a worthy life and support his family.
