On the Caribbean island of Matul, white doctor David Menard is trying to stem the tide of cannibal zombies that are returning from the dead. Arriving on the island are Anne and reporter Peter West who are looking for Anne's missing father. The pair soon find themselves under attack from the zombies.

Dead on Target is the third and final film in the Our Man Flint movie trilogy. The film originally aired on ABC on March 17, 1976. The TV movie was also a pilot for a possible weekly series, but it did not get good enough ratings to warrant such, and Dead On Target became the last Derek Flint movie.

Charles Dobbs is a British secret agent investigating the apparent suicide of Foreign Office official Samuel Fennan. A group of soldiers is sent to the hospital to eliminate the infected staff and interns but private DeLuca steals a test tube with the virus and hides it inside a vacuum flask. He is transformed into a zombie and killed but the vacuum flask falls in the grass. In the present days, a group of patients in the mental institution Ravenside Memorial Hospital finds the vacuum flask and later when one of them opens the vessel, the culture tube drops on the floor of a bathroom contaminating the group and their Dr. Donwynn.
