Dreams Don

Two young kids in love, one young graffiti artist and the other a foster-child, find trouble on the mean streets on the other side of the river in New York City. Officer Charles Banks finds young Danny tagging subway cars and then catches Teiresa selling drugs for another mislead teen, Kirk. The officer, instead of turning both of them in, gives both teens a chance to make more of their lives together. Changing their ways turns out to be more challenging than first thought.

It has hardly been seen before that a 83-year-old actor has starred in a Danish film, but it is the case here, where Kai Holm says goodbye to a long life in film and theater service. He plays an old peasant who on his deathbed is waiting for his son (Jon Bang Carlsen). In a few days he relives the village life, he comes from, and which was marked by a hard and authoritarian upbringing. He is at his father's deathbed despair because it is still impossible to make contact, and in a crisis situation, he recognizes his father's brutality in itself. The film draws a bitter picture of human relationships where dreams while they die, degenerates into power relations.

It's a love story that portraits a generation growing up with all possibilities to shape their lives and dreams and therefore also sometimes struggle to settle down and make final decisions. It's a short that tells the story of that great love you wish to last eternally, but maybe it can't last longer than in the moment.

In a depressing, dreamless world a girl, who can't find her place, falls in love with another. Their love is dream in this dreary world, where people want to exploit every minute, without saving time for important things. Every artificial pleasure is available, though what has been natural, like sleep, dream, love or timeless togetherness seems to be gone forever.

Separated by the war they meet again, only to lose each other forever.

Monty Don, one of Britain's favourite gardeners, has spent the last year working with enthusiasts up and down the country to help them create the garden of their dreams. He has listened to their plans, he has given them advice and he has rolled up his sleeves to help make their dreams come true. But it's not an easy task and there have been times when it all seemed nothing more than a pipe dream.

New anti-gay laws have just been approved in Russia. After a competition in St. Petersburg, Italian swimmer Massimo meets a Russian of his own age, Vladimir, working as an interpreter for the delegation of which Massimo is a member. The two men fall in love, but they will have to face the cultural barriers between them, as well as old and new macho stereotypes.

A young priest arrives in a small village because his old colleague is old and frail and cannot uphold the law of God with the necessary strength. He means well but the hypocrisy of the villagers who do not trust him makes his task only harder and while struggling for his beliefs, he falls victim to the sins of the flesh.

15 years after "Lost in la Mancha", Keith Fulton and Louis Pepe come back to follow Terry Gilliam's new (successful) attempt at filming "The Man Who Killed Don Quixote".

The film details the life of Ray Mancini, a World Boxing Association world lightweight champion boxer from 1982 to 1984, Hollywood actor and a member of the International Boxing Hall of Fame.
