　It has just been announced that the live footages for “TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ [mode of MACABRE]”, focused on DIR EN GREY’s 2nd ALBUM 『MACABRE』 (Sep. 20th, 2000), Along with the songs featured on the past albums on which each tour is focused, it brings you also songs from the band’s latest album 『ARCHE』(Dec. 10th, 2014): a great chance to enjoy both nowadays DIR EN GREY as well as their oldies but goodies!

　The live tour series “TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ ”, announced on February 6th (Sat) 2016 during the “ARCHE” NIPPON BUDOKAN LIVE, started on June of the same year. It has now been announced that the live footages of the first 3 tours of this series, [mode of Vulgar] (Jun.～Jul.), [mode of DUM SPIRO SPERO] (Sep.～Oct.) and [mode of KISOU] (Nov.), will be released simultaneously in March 2017, as the 1st round of DIR EN GREY Official Fan Club 「a knot」 Limited Items＜“TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ ” Series＞. The“TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ ” series brings DIR EN GREY’s gratitude to their fans, but it is also a tour series that laid the basis for the band’s future, now that the chapter of the 9th ALBUM 『ARCHE』(2014/12/10 Release) ended with the NIPPON BUDOKAN 2 DAYS show.

　It has just been announced that the live footage for “TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ [mode of UROBOROS]”, focused on DIR EN GREY’s 7th ALBUM 『UROBOROS』 (Nov. 12th, 2008), and “TOUR16-17 FROM DEPRESSION TO ________ [mode of THE MARROW OF A BONE]”, focused on the 6th ALBUM 『THE MARROW OF A BONE』 (Feb. 7th, 2007) will be released in September 2017 as Official Fan Club 「a knot」LIMITED LIVE Blu-ray & DVD. [mode of UROBOROS] Blu-ray & DVD will feature the final show for the tour, held at Tokyo International Forum Hall A on Feb. 10th (Fri.), 2017, as well an additional footage of the performance of 「GLASS SKIN」, from the show held at Nanba Hatch (Osaka) on Jan. 25, 2017. The [mode of THE MARROW OF A BONE] Blu-ray & DVD will feature the show held at Zepp Nagoya on Apr. 18th (Tue.), 2017.

Rettou Gekishin Angya Final 2003 5 Ugly Kingdom is a live DVD and VHS released by Dir En Grey on May 21, 2003. The featured concert was performed at the Yokohama Arena, as the last show of the year-long Rettou Gekishin Angya tour. This was the band's first live release to make use of a 16:9 aspect ratio and DTS audio (DVD only). Also included on the DVD version are multiple angles for the performance of "Children", extra footage from various legs of aforementioned tour and several easter eggs.

This is the first DIR EN GREY single that was primarily released as a digital version, without a booklet with accompanying lyrics and credits. The DVD/Blu-ray version was only available to those who did not want to refund their tickets for the lives at Pia Arena MM on July 23 and 24, 2020.

The live footage for the “「a knot」 LIMITED 25TH ANNIVERSARY LIVE” from “TOUR23 PHALARIS -Vol.II-“, held at KBS Hall on May 5th will be released as DIR EN GREY Official Fan Club 「a knot」 only item in October 2023. It includes all the songs performed that night, focused on the songs from the 11th ALBUM “PHALARIS”, to “JEALOUS” and “惨劇の夜 (Sangeki no Yoru)”, which were performed to celebrate this special night marking the 25th anniversary of the Official Fan Club 「a knot」.

DIR EN GREY, celebrating their 25th anniversary this year, will present a documentary film "DIR EN GREY - UROBOROS the Movie" on M-ON! The documentary film "DIR EN GREY - UROBOROS the Movie," which records their legendary live performance at Nippon Budokan in Tokyo on January 9 and 10, 2010, as well as behind-the-scenes footage, will be broadcast on M-ON! on!

"Agitated Screams of Maggots" was directed by Keita Kurosaka and released in 2006 with the single, "Agitated Screams of Maggots", made by Japanese rock band, DIR EN GREY. ASOM has a traditional drawing design with erotic and grotesque aspects. The video had also received some attention from it's art style and was shown at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2007.
