A comedic mystery that follows two genius high student and a female police detective as they solve cases that arise while following the disappearances of the boys' parents.
Something strange happened after an autistic girl is involved in a car accident. Su Tang survives the crash only to realize that her brain has developed to an extremely high intellectual level and all of her senses have become so powerful that she is able to observe and detect the minutest details. Su Tang begins to use her newfound powers to help the police solve the most difficult or bizarre cases. But why do all of these strange cases seem to somehow lead back to one mysterious person, and could Su Tang herself be involved somehow?
Chinese movie
Fukasaku and Chiba are back in a sequel filmed with the same cast and released just two weeks after the first film. This time the storyline is set in a small seaside town and the film favours detective and watadori film influences over westerns. Like its predecessor, the film runs barely over one hour and never drags. It’s a little less goofy, but doesn’t have as beautiful landscapes the first movie had. Not an especially good film, but for fans of Fukasaku and Chiba it’s an entertaining if flawed 60 minutes.

The film is set in Moscow, nowadays. The center of events is the miraculously preserved world of a communal apartment – one of the last in our time. It remains almost the same order as it was decades ago – a corridor filled with things, disputes and sometimes squabbles between neighbors, the eternal dream of a separate apartment or at least an expansion of living space. But this is only at the beginning. With the advent of two new tenants, the relationship of neighbors changes, and the apartment itself becomes not just a communal apartment, but a real detective agency. But, everything is in order.
