Sanem, a young girl with aspirations of becoming a writer, is forced by her parents to choose between an arranged marriage and finding a proper job. Rushing into a new job at an advertising company, she soon falls for her boss, Can.

If a couple sees the diamond dust together, then they will certainly find eternal happiness. Or so it is said. This is a drama about the romances, friendships and conflicts of six girls from Hokkaido and how the diamond dust affects them and eventually links them together in the search for happiness.

“Daydreamers” is the story of four red-hot teenagers that are eager to grow up. Deniz, Aslı, Efe and Mine live in a beach town that is full of colorful people in the summer but deserted in the winter. Deniz wants to detach himself from his happy and dependable family and find his own way. Aslı tries to act tough but is very sensitive inside. Efe tries to hide his pain with his breezy and jokey attitude. And the couch grass, rebellious Mine… Intimate friendships, first loves, pressure of exams, school and family problems that are hard to overcome… Everything we went through as teenagers are all part of this series.

Sergei’s beloved wife Yelena has passed away, and the bereaved husband is inconsolable. He remains obsessed with pictures of Yelena and with a braid of her hair that he has saved. One day, while walking in the street, he passes by a woman who bears a striking resemblance to Yelena.

Axèle is a photographer, Camille is a writer. They have been awarded an arts residency at the Villa Medicis in Rome. Camille is accompanied by her husband, the famous writer Marc Landré. When a strange rivalry takes shape between them, Camille bonds with Axèle. But who is Axèle really ? A total artist, who never compromises and confuses herself with her oeuvre ? Or a ghost ? This year at the Villa Medici, where bodies and souls free themselves, no one will come out unscathed.

As in Headline Today: Guatemala and in Armored Daydreams, Mikael Wahlforss presents us in Stalag Guatemala the testimonies of victims and perpetrators without makeup and without distortion of the facts. The anecdotes of one and the other flow across the screen transporting the viewer to that Guatemala in which men, women and children are indifferently victims and witnesses of state repression.

Cazibe is a woman in her late thirties, who has never got married or had a relationship with a man in her life. She lives with her old mother and her uncle who feels an attraction towards her. The lonely woman, whose only existence is her small room, spends all her time in this old room, dreaming and fantasising about her ex-lover.

May 5th.2010: the day is a special day for Honoka because the day is when her mother, Yoko, died on her 24th birthday. Her inner fear of being alive at her mother’s age troubles her. Honoka’s hatred for the father, Kotaro began the day when her mother passed away. During Yoko’s death, Kotaro was not anywhere to be found when her mother and did not even return for the funeral. Joy Love literally has a fear of people. Her only friend is Chickie, a talking eagle stuffed toy. Chickie plans to surprise Joy Love for her birthday along with his friends leading to the revelation of their secrets.

Filmed in Spain, London, and Sweden with an old Bolex silent camera, this film was originally part of a longer film – that was split into a diptych, the other one being 'Hommage à Meliérs.' They work as independent films. (Håkan Dahlström)

Daydreams follows Elise, a 17 year old living in suburban Melbourne, Australia, as she finishes her final year of high school. When her partygoing older brother, Chris, returns from overseas, Elise begins to question who she is and how she wants to live her life. As adulthood fast approaches, she struggles to navigate her friendships, relationships and studies; watching on as her brother lives a seemingly carefree life that she wishes she could have.

Two specimens are sent to earth for a day as part of an experiment. Both are warned not to consume the 'forbidden fruit'. Their every move is being watched and observed.
