Darkness On The Edge Of Town 1978

Ankoku Butoh is a style of avant-garde dance that established itself in the counter culture experimental arts scene of post WWII Japan. The dance form is thought to have been founded by Tatsumi Hijikata, who both created and performed in butoh pieces from the late 1950’s - through the early 1970’s. In butoh, the style of movement is extremely stylized and deliberate, vacillating between slow and sharp, expressing feelings of dread, sexualization, violence, calmness, birth and “creatureness” among other things. This performance of Summer Storm was originally recorded in 1973 at Westside Auditorium, Kyoto University, Japan, and was Hijikata’s last public performance before his death in 1986 with Butoh of Dark Spirit School. Tsuyoshi Tatsuzaki is disqualified from practising law due to the betrayal of his best friend. Rookie lawyer Narumi Akikawa quits her efficiency-oriented law firm because of her sense of justice. A week after the evacuation, Alan had a recovery session with a psychologist named Kinan to overcome the mental trauma experienced. However, when Alan recalls back in his experience in the bunker, appeared the awkwardness that makes existence Julia was questioned.

The dark recording of a heliography revolves around the annihilation of the essence of being human, as people are forced to compromise on an increasing number of issues. The main character returns to his hometown and comes up against the past. In the words of the director himself, the film includes "few images, that talk about the loneliness of a man who always stood apart."

What Belongs to Darkness (German: Die Finsternis und ihr Eigentum) is a 1922 German silent drama film directed by Martin Hartwig and starring Karl Etlinger, Erra Bognar, and Fritz Kortner. The film's sets were designed by the art director Alfred Columbus.

By integrating segments from ethnography of Siberia and the Xing'an Mountains, Northeastern literature, and folklore into the documentary footage, the artist constructs a series of fictional ecological narratives.

A short film that centers on four central characters and their adversities that are explored whilst on a merrymaking camping trip. William, an adoptee, is faced with being erased by his family. Thomas endures his father’s homophobia – which has recently dismantled a relationship with Gustav. Ida and Emma both struggle with their bisexuality as the drama delves into their tempestuous courtship. Despite their stumbling blocks, the close friendship group provides them with the unconditional love they desperately crave.

They employ all sorts of methods to try to return him to being a woman. While Kishida goes along with their actions, he waits for an opportunity to escape...

After being freed from the post-war bunker, Alan undergoes therapy to deal with his trauma and uncover the whereabouts of Julia, the girl who accompanied his last days in the bunker.
