Lillie's parents are caretakers of the property adjoining Mr. Montgomery's estate. He is a wealthy bachelor. Lillie's pleasures consist in shooting, boating and gathering flowers, while roaming through Mr. Montgomery's woods and gardens. Cobbs, the grouchy gardener, has orders to keep all trespassers off the grounds and in vain to keep the troublesome Lillie away. Jack, the owner's nephew, arrives on a visit, and starts out to frighten away the trespasser, but instead falls in love with Lillie and she introduces him to her parents. A pleasing romance follows and the young people get a bead of fun out of fooling the old gardener and Mr. Montgomery, but Jack always reports that the little trespasser cannot be found.

We see a tree in the place where nothing can ever grow, combined with the sound that I recorded near a power plant under electricity lines, where you can never meet anyone, but you can hear voices of predators that are supposed to scare away birds.

Pete and Sandy get permission to go trick-or-treating by promising to avoid mischief. So, they inveigle two younger boys to play a prank.

"Meeting place at Infinity" - Combines interviews with family members, contemporary witnesses, experts and critics, text passages as well as photo and film material with staged film scenes. The result is a portrait of the writer, his family and his time.

A little mouse tries to take shelter inside the trunk of an old tree, when it suddenly scolds her in a gruff, menacing voice. The mouse runs away and meets a squirrel, who disbelievingly scampers up to the tree but soon beats a hasty retreat. A rabbit then a chaffinch receive the same treatment, when finally a tortoise comes along who does not let herself be taken in.
