The colorful, humorous and meaningful life story of Jerry Torre, known for his appearance as 'The Marble Faun' in the 1975 Maysles' Brothers Documentary Grey Gardens, as told by first-time filmmakers Jason Hay and Steve Pelizza.

The Garden Beyond is a dramatised portrayal of the life of bed-ridden Perth poet William Soutar - the first independently produced Scottish film to be broadcast on the BBC One UK network. Made in 1977, it reflected, as well as Soutar's own passion and commitment, the debate then current in the run-up to the 1979 devolution referendum. Forty-odd years later with a second independence referendum in prospect, it has, we believe, a renewed relevance.

The Royal Ballet performs a production of Kenneth MacMillan's ballet: Manon. In decadent 18th century Paris, the young, beautiful and naive Manon (Tamara Rojo) is torn between a life of privilege and luxury with the wealthy Monsieur GM or love with the poor student Des Grieux (Carlos Acosta). Manon has become one the Royal Ballet's signature works since its creation in 1974.

Scattered in seemingly random order, on the screen, we see the light that traverses the kinetic fields of Bill Brand’s latest film August Garden. Made for a group exhibition at Galerie Arnaud Lefebvre (Paris), the film accompanies a series of flower ink paintings, carefully made by the artist. Before, in the first seconds, we’re able to see an animation of August Garden 07 (ink and watercolor on xuan paper, 9″ x13″, 2019), which titillates lively for brief moments.

Tales of the Copper Cross Garden: Episode 1 documents the process by which copper is drawn into wire from glowing, semi-liquid ingots. A choral mass provides the soundtrack, while sporadic all-caps intertitles weave biographical details (Baloji grew up in the mining region of Katanga in the Democratic Republic of Congo) with a reflection on the role of the Church in the colonial enterprise in Africa.

Experimental short about India's problematic transition to modernity.

A town which struggled to survive but which grew and flourished to become a varied balanced community of over 40,000 people. A town which has become one of the most internationally celebrated examples of a successful garden city".
