The great merchant of Kaga Daitokuya , had taken control of the domain with his wealth and by holding onto the weakness of Lord Maeda Tsunanori , and was planning to rule over Japan as well. In order to free the lord from evil spirits and monsters, Sawatari Shusui heads towards Kaga Hyakumangoku. On his way, Shusui helps a girl named Oyumi who was about to be bullied by a ronin. Oyumi claims to be the daughter of Daitokuya, but she is actually the daughter of Lord Maeda Tsunanori's concubine. Daitokuya, who had taken control of power by raising Oyumi on behalf of Tsunanori who could not make it public because of his legal wife, was secretly storing weapons and ammunition and was pressuring Tsunanori to sign a letter of rebellion.

A couple, Ok-Nyeo and Hyeon-Bo, lives in a village near Ji-Ri Mountain. They are poor but happy. As healthy Hyeon-Bo gets sick, Ok-Nyeo takes care of him getting snakes and herbs for him but he doesn't get better. Thus Ok-Nyeo sells her body to men of the village for care of sick Hyeon-Bo. As they came to know this, village women give her mob violence. Even in this hard situation, their love is getting deeper. Mr. Choi, who wants for Ok-Nyeo, is impressed by their love while he is watching the couple. As he scares Hyeon-Bo and gives him a good scolding on purpose, Hyeon-Bo jumps out of bed to beat Mr. Choi soundly. Ok-Nyeo sheds tears due to her husband's dramatic resuscitation while Mr. Choi leaves leaving enough paper money and herbal medicine.

War does not affect only the soldiers on the field, but the side effects cover vast entities; international organizations, state officials, rescue workers, volunteers. But the smallest denominator of war is often a child. This smallest piece of the puzzle is unable to understand the entire reality of which it is a part of. Their experience consists of short moments, full of unclarity, sadness and often even happiness. The film tries to depict what goes around in the heads of these children, as we follow through the lens a bus full of Ukrainian refugees fleeing towards Finland.
