Complet Black

This live show was recorded in a television studio in Denmark before a small and appreciative audience in 1971, and was shown on Danish television. Featuring the entire Johnny Cash touring show - the Tennessee Three, the Carter Family, the Statler Brothers, and Carl Perkins - this tightly filmed, terrific little DVD takes us back to Johnny Cash at the very peak of his popularity. He looked good and sounded great as he took over the small stage with all the power of his personality, just his guitar and his iconic voice, thundering out "Boy Named Sue" with that sparkle in his dark eyes and a slight grin on his face, obviously happy to be exactly where he was doing exactly what he was doing - entertaining folks. It was at this time that Cash began the gradual but inevitable transformation from mere performer to legend.

The French Revolution, 1794. The Marquis de Lafayette asks Charles D'Aubigny to infiltrate the Jacobin Party to overthrow Maximilian Robespierre, who, after gaining supreme power and establishing a reign of terror ruled by death, now intends to become the dictator of France.

"It Is What It Is" is the story behind the band The Breathing Light. Recorded over various periods in it's short period of 5 years, it gives viewers insight into the personalities and ideals that make up the band.

Made in Butetown, Cardiff, shows that black communities have been developing since the 1850s. Whereas in the 20th century the 'new' communities are made up of black industrial labour, in the 19th century they began with black colonial seamen. The Tiger Bay community faced official, as well as everyday physical harassment which culminated in the 1919 race riots and a scheme for repatriation. The people of Butetown lived through the Depression in the 1930s and many of them served and died in World War Two. Since the 1950's they have come to share the broader experience of the newer black communities.

James Iglehart is Doug Russell, an American who steals a shipment of gold in the Philippines with two Vietnam War buddies, who cut his throat and throw him overboard. Russell washes ashore an island inhabited by two Japanese soldiers stranded there since World War II. They nurse him back to health and he is taught martial arts and the art of the samurai. Back in the States, his treacherous pals, Marelli and Maghee, use their loot and viciousness to muscle their way into Los Angels mafia turf.

Russian and American Navy are working together in a sea rescue operation, trying to prevent a major ecological catastrophe. The disaster may be caused by the nuclear reactor, that was smuggled out of Russia and then dropped into the Pacific Ocean from exploded cargo airplane.

Green Flake, a southern slave, joins Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a child. Later on in his life he is sent to pave the way to what is now the Salt Lake Valley and his faith sustains him.

Australian lawyer David Burton agrees with reluctance to defend a group of Aboriginal people charged with murdering one of their own. He suspects the victim was targeted for violating a tribal taboo, but the defendants deny any tribal association. Burton, plagued by apocalyptic visions of water, slowly realizes danger may come from his own involvement with the Aboriginal people and their prophecies.

Woody is at home being bored and watching TV and hears a special bulletin about pirated gold by Captain Blah. Woody still bored and ignoring the bulletin decides to go to bed. While drifting off to sleep, dirt is slung through Woody's bedroom window & when investigates, he finds Captain Blah digging a hole to bury his gold. Seeing where Blah buried his gold, he chases after Woody.

Unable to perform live shows during the COVID-19 pandemic, Lacuna Coil live streamed their new album Black Anima under the name Black Anima: Live From The Apocalypse. The performance took place at the Alcatraz Club in their home city of Milan on 11th of September 2020. Recording of the show was later released in 2021 as a bonus DVD alongside a special edition album.

Jim and Buddy decide to follow their pal Tater-bug who left them for another job. No sooner do they arrive than Tater-bug gets shot in the back. Jim suspects Joe Weller but has no proof.
