A short horror film.

Produced in 2004, Inspired by the book, Glory In A Snapshot A Photographic Look at Bedford-Stuyvesant, Bedford-Stuyvesant Beautiful is a video that gives you an insight into life in this historic community.

Eames is a middle aged man, with a boring, routine job. His life changes when he meets a young girl and a painter. This rekindles his youthful artistic leanings, which he blames his father for stopping.

The Bed opens with Jamie, a young man, looking round an old, deserted country house. Through flashback we see Jamie as a boy, scared out of his wits when his older sister and her boyfriend, left alone in the house to babysit Jamie for the evening, play cruel tricks on him. His sister makes believe she’s been sucked under Jamie's bed by a monster and her boyfriend pretends he’s been stabbed. Jamie has his revenge at the end when the couple, laughing at scaring Jamie half to death and frolicking on The Bed, are suffocated by its sheets and consumed by it. We come back to present day; Jamie looks at the empty room where the bed once stood then is called by someone outside: an ambulance driver beckons him down in a friendly voice. We assume it’s Jamie's day out from the mental asylum. The final shot is of the lighter part of flooring where the bed once stood disappearing once Jamie has left the room.

After Will, a 20-year old college sophomore, says "Don't let the bed bugs bite" to his friend group, they all begin to experience a grisly reality.

The Grand Fleet Parade on the Baltic Sea on November 4, 1960 to mark the renaming of the GDR's naval forces to the "Volksmarine". The renaming commemorates the Kiel sailors' uprising of 1918 and makes direct reference to the "People's Navy Division" formed during the November Revolution - the guests of honor include participants in the sailors' uprising of 1918. Rear Admiral Neukirchen leads the parade formation. The solemn ceremony takes place on the flagship.

During the evening, two men sexually abuse her, a lesbian fights her for the favors of another woman and another lesbian and a handsome stranger have sex with her. She is murdered by a vicious sadist, who is in turn killed by her vengeful husband.

BUTTERFLY BIRTH BED is a metaphysical art film about hope. Inspired by 'The Butterfly Effect'—the philosophical theorem that any small change in our environment, even the gentle flapping of a butterfly's wings may manifest big climatic change—the film documents the ethereal emergence of live butterflies over storm imagery contained in a butterfly-scale Shaker bed. Collectively, BUTTERFLY BIRTH BED's symbolism and elemental soundscape facilitate a surreal incantation for healing, hope, and recovery. The film is directed, edited, and scored by VLM.
